    Great welcome and refreshing ambiance.

    The service from the staff was deplorable. They barely acknowledged my presence and failed to clean my room one day, falsely claiming I had a 'do not disturb' sign, which I did not. The noise from a hammering workshop below my room at 6 am was unbearable, and it took forever for anyone to address my complaints. This was not the luxury experience I paid for.

    The place is romantic, the staff are very friendly and delightfully helpful.

    The property is fairly clean; a nice size rooms; great bed. It offers quiet, perfect location. There's La Luz Restaurant & bar with nice shots near the venue. The restaurant is beautiful.

    Things I wish I knew before I tried it

    The hotel offers fine mountain views, especially from higher floors. My suite was spacious with a lovely balcony, but the bathroom's AC was inadequate during the heat. Breakfast was standard but satisfying. Forewarned about the wasps at the restaurant would have been helpful. Service was consistently friendly.

    Super nice reception and very good service (especially from Luis!!!). Taxi, massage and restaurant service was in very high quality! We felt very comfortable and all wishes were always fulfilled! Very recommendable hotel! Delicious food in the local restaurant!

    Very nice oasis at the edge of San Jose, comfortable bed, good restaurant with delicious food, even if you have to wait a little. Friendly staff. Late check out at 14 o'clock was possible.

    No minibar in the room, very spartan Continental breakfast

    I enjoyed the beautiful decor inside the hotel and the charm it offered. The elegant coffee ranch style elements added a unique touch. My room had an amazing view, overlooking the city and distant mountains. Breakfast included was well-made and delicious. The gardens were easily accessible, awesome for peaceful strolls. The air conditioning in common areas needed improvement. It felt a bit uncomfortable at times. The temperature control in my room wasn't the best, which impacted my sleep at night. The staff was attentive, but they might need to address the temperature issues for a better guest experience.

    Appreciated my well-appointed and new-fashioned room with a lovely balcony, great view and amazing balcony overlooking the gardens. The breakfast was freshly prepared with pastry, yogurt and really good coffee and frequently replenished.
